Extending an Algebraic Modeling Language to Support Constraint Programming
Robert Fourer (4er Abstract: We describe extensions to algebraic modeling languages and their solver interfaces that will be needed to take advantage of constraint programming solvers, particularly in the area of combinatorial optimization. Keywords: modeling languages, constraint programming Category 1: Optimization Software and Modeling Systems (Modeling Languages and Systems ) Category 2: Combinatorial Optimization (Other) Citation: Technical Report, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences, Northwestern University (2001); based on a shorter version that appeared in the Proceedings of the Third International Workshop on Integration of AI and OR Techniques in Constraint Programming for Combinatorial Optimization Problems (CP-AI-OR'01), Ashford, Kent, United Kingdom (2001).
